The social media world is in shock after the tragic death of popular influencer Dutchess Dior whose real name was Zaria Khadejah Carr, and her husband, Martin, known as “The Frenchman,” in what seems to be a case of domestic violence turned fatal. The couple, who recently had a baby together, often shared posts about parenting, healing and relationships on Facebook. However, beneath their happy facade, serious issues were brewing.

Dutchess, 27 met Martin 36 while he was in prison, and shortly after his release, he moved in with her, leading to their marriage. Sadly, their love story ended in tragedy. Dutchess hoped to change him, but as many know, “you can’t change people unless they want to change.”

Just hours before their deaths, the couple had a heated argument during a TikTok Live session. Viewers watched as they aired their business of infidelity in public. Martin said, “The devil is trying to keep me from delivering this message, but I’ma deliver somebody today.” There were also troubling allegations that Martin had a role in the death of a friend named Odie. When Dutchess began to mention Odie during the livestream, Martin ominously replied, “That’s when you die.”

Tragically, shortly after the livestream, Dutchess was found dead. Authorities believe she was killed by her husband, who then took his own life. The cause of death is still under investigation, with reports suggesting strangulation or gunshot wounds. In the days before the tragedy, Dutchess posted alarming messages about her fear for her safety. In her last post, she wrote, “I really don’t know what to do, but I need help before I lose my life or freedom. My kids need me.”

Both Dutchess and Martin reportedly performed love spells on each other, raising questions about their relationship. In the final moments of the livestream, Martin seemed to prepare for something serious, moving the phone away and removing his white t-shirt and being left with a black vest, likely to avoid getting blood on it.

After the couple’s deaths were confirmed, Martin’s brother went live, expressing his love for his brother. He mentioned that the family had warned Martin to leave Dutchess and implied that she was to blame for their tragic end.

Fights were common for the couple, leading friends and family to dismiss Dutchess’s cries for help, thinking they were just part of their usual drama.

Zaria was known for her raw and unfiltered presence online, sharing both the beautiful and difficult moments of her life . Her death has sparked discussions about the hidden realities of domestic violence and the urgent need for awareness.

Social media reactions have been filled with grief and calls for awareness about domestic violence. One user emphasized on the importance of recognizing toxic dynamics, stating that “there’s no justification for killing your partner, leave!”

Their newborn baby, along with Dutchess’s older child from a previous relationship, are now left without parents. Friends and supporters have started a fundraiser to help support the children after this devastating loss.

As investigations continue, many are left to confront the reality behind seemingly perfect online lives, a reminder of the mental health and domestic abuse issues that often remain hidden.
